Paralegal home based employment
If you are a paralegal looking for a home based business opportunity, you should consider litigation funding. Giving money to plaintiffs in lawsuits who are expected to win their cases.
Returns are often quite good.
It takes advantage of your legal background.
You can make money while you are not working, if you are taking care of your kids or on vacation. Still make money even if you don't put out any billable hours.
And this is a very new business, relatively speaking, with a lot of potential.
Sure, paralegals are a hot commodity for employment.
This special type of paralegal, often known as litigation technology support staff, is in demand as law firms, litigation technology shops and corporations wade through the mountains of electronic data amassed before and during lawsuits. And with a limited supply of these professionals, businesses are attracting candidates with tactics not unlike those used for their bosses.
"Oh man, it's tough (to find them)," said Jonathan Sablone, a partner at Nixon Peabody LLP and chief of its e-discovery division. "Today almost every firm needs people to do this."
Nixon Peabody has about 20 such staff nationwide, with a few in its Boston office.
But why would you want a job if you can have a real business?
